Since moving to the USA nine years ago, Lindsay has established and run a successful Professional Organizing firm working with hundreds of clients, many with ADHD. Ultimately gaining government contracts to work with Adult Protective Services social workers and their clients. This hands-on experience combined with years of study culminating in her Graduation from two prestigious coaching institutions; Coachville and the ADD Coaches Academy based in New York, has equipped Lindsay to be a compassionate and skillfull ADHD life management coach.
Lindsay says "I'm dedicated to working with my clients to minimize the challenges and maximize the positive aspects of ADHD. I have a non-judgmental, collaborative style. I know first-hand how disruptive ADHD can be. And I've learned through hands-on experience how to overcome the specific challenges it creates. Coaching, coupled with excellent systems and strategies, allows clients with ADHD to enjoy all the positive attributes their ADHD has to offer. Together we'll develop strategies that will help you maintain focus. And set up structures and supportive environments to save you time and reduce stress. With my on-going support you can implement the changes needed to resolve the issues tripping you up and preventing you from enjoying life. I will encourage, support, educate and inspire you and when appropriate we'll have a good belly laugh too!!" On a much more personal note I have been blessed with many wonderful opportunities in my life; traveled the world extensively, lived on four different continents, and had some fabulous jobs and amazing experiences. Volunteering to run art therapy in a hospice, and feeding mentally ill patients, ranks up there with the high paying corporate jobs. But like most people I have gone through some very tough times along the way. From a very 'challenging' childhood. To single parenthood as a teenager, followed by an abusive marriage to an alcoholic, AA twelve step recovery for myself, bankruptcy of a million dollar business I spent nine years building, to the almost inevitably bout of cancer after all the accumulated stress. And more recently I experienced the unexpected death of both parents within three weeks of each other. These are some of the hurdles I have faced. I believe I am a testimony that you can overcome and thrive despite being dealt a difficult hand. Now married to a wonderful man (...re-uniting 25 years after our first meeting…that's another story!!) I am happy, healthy and contented. I love coaching and have the best clients in the world (what's not to love…funny , super smart compassionate, always thinking outside the box). I've worked hard and I'm now self sufficient with homes here in the States and New Zealand. Mother of a gorgeous daughter Sacha, a film and television editor who is currently roaming the world working freelance; and an excellent, if slightly dotty dog, called Coco. I have many plans hatching for my clients to help me better serve them; and create more support for
those with, and effected by, ADD. My mantra is "life is good and keeps getting better". But only
if you believe it to be so, and take the steps to make it happen. Come coach with me…
