Originally, I introduced coaching as an added
resource for my Professional Organizing clients. My ADHD clients
needed more than a few hands on Professional Organizing sessions
to maintain organization and internalize new habits. Clearing
the clutter was just the first step and probably the easiest.
What was needed was ongoing support and accountability
to take the systems and strategies we designed and discussed
from being pipe dreams to reality.
I saw with regular coaching
sessions, based on honesty, encouragement and accountability,
we could reduce the negative side effects of ADHD. And integrate
positive, productive habits, and systems into daily living.
By focusing on strengths and passions and working towards specific
goals, positive change was inevitable.
So how do I work, you ask?
I work one-on-one with you, usually by phone,
in a collaborative partnership. Each coaching sessions last
45 minutes and typically we work once a week but I'm totally
flexible; if you would prefer more, or less often, depending
on your situation, that's fine - it's all about you.
I ask for a commitment of no less than 12 sessions
to begin our partnership. (See my guarantee below…) Thereafter
we can discuss what will work for you. Coaching is a process
that builds over time - less than 12 sessions may not produce
the positive results we both seek.
